Tell Us Your Indigo Lab Coat Story

As part of the Indigo Lab Coat campaign, we asked Dr. Hayley Wickenheiser to tell us what the medical laboratory profession meant to her. Her words became the Indigo Lab Coat of Honour — a special edition of the Indigo Lab Coat honouring you, medical laboratory professionals.

Now, we want to know your story.

Here is your chance to tell your story in your own words. Tell us about a time when you, your team, or a colleague made an impact on the life of a patient — even if they never knew it.

How did you go above and beyond to truly change the course of someone's life?

Were there critical decisions made about tests being run?

Did you provide comfort to a patient during a difficult collection?

Sometimes, patients may not understand how important accurate sample collection is to their results or how the work happening behind laboratory doors is critical to their health care. Your story could be selected to help shine a light on your work and continue to raise public awareness as we celebrate the impact of medical laboratory professionals in health care.

Send us your story using the form below and you could WIN* your very own Indigo Lab Coat! These limited-edition coats are exclusive to CSMLS and part of the national public awareness campaign. Entries will be accepted until January 7, 2022.

*Must be a CSMLS member, in good standing, and residing in Canada
